The Roy W. Slusher Foundation Partners With Convoy of Hope To Feed Children
BRANSON, Mo. – The Roy W. Slusher Foundation will present a check to Convoy of Hope at a press conference on Thursday, December 11, to help provide groceries for students at Bradleyville, Taneyville, Plainville and Mark Twain school districts.
The press conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Bradleyville Public School. A holiday celebration will take place immediately following the press conference, where more than 700 students will receive groceries, new shoes, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus.
“The Slusher Foundation is pleased to collaborate with Convoy of Hope,” says Jerry Redfern, foundation manager for The Slusher Foundation. “By sharing resources, we can help more children.”
Since its inception, The Roy W. Slusher Foundation has touched the lives of thousands of children and adults by distributing nearly $6 million, primarily to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations in Taney and Stone Counties.
“We value our continued partnership with The Roy W. Slusher Foundation,” says Hal Donaldson, president and co-founder of Convoy of Hope. “They have helped us reach people in need.”
