Freddy Jones Band Joins Convoy of Hope To Feed the Hungry

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Freddy Jones Band will partner with Convoy of Hope through the international humanitarian-relief organization’s feedONE initiative. Convoy of Hope currently feeds more than 145,000 children in 11 countries.

“It was always my wish to champion an important cause and bring awareness through music,” says Marty Lloyd, lead singer of the Freddy Jones Band. “It is a thrill for me personally to be involved with feedONE, and it’s an honor for the Freddy Jones Band.”

This three-show series kicks off on January 17 in Austin, Texas, with stops in Los Angeles, Calif., on January 20 and Nashville, Tenn., on January 22. Freddy Jones Band will contribute a portion of every live show, download, CD and merchandise sale to feedONE. Each shirt purchase feeds one child for an entire month.
