feedONE Teams Up With Color Me Rad
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – International humanitarian-relief organization Convoy of Hope has partnered with Color Me Rad to encourage runners in the U.S. to raise funds to feed hungry children throughout the world.
“The primary goal is to fight hunger among children,” says Jeff Neal, senior director of corporate relations for Convoy of Hope. “Through our feedONE initiative, Color Me Rad participants can raise funds, feed children and have a blast running for a good cause.”
Neal notes that every $10 raised will feed a child for an entire month. Convoy of Hope currently feeds more than 147,000 children around the world.
Color Me Rad is a leader in unique 5K race experiences, as it provides runners with the thrill of being showered with bursts of colored cornstarch while they run. Since 2012, more than 1.5 million people have participated in Color Me Rad events.
Race registrants will be given the opportunity to fundraise for feedONE during their registration. Fundraisers who raise at least $120 prior to their race will also receive an exclusive feedONE t-shirt.
“If there’s anything our runners like more than being colorful, it’s helping people in need,” says Emerson Hamilton, CEO of Color Me Rad. “We’re excited to partner with Convoy of Hope, and to help their efforts to make the world a more rad place.”
