Event Recap:
This past weekend, we had our 4th annual community event in Melilla, Spain. Teams from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Spain, France, and Convoy of Hope Europe made up 100 volunteers for this outreach. Working together with the local church, we helped to greet over 1100 guests comprised of Berbers from Morocco, refugees from Central Africa and native Melillians. Over 1000 hamburgers were served on this sunny day alongside booths for hair, makeup and nails, foot, hand and face massages, and medical checkups. After a day of fun, fellowship and pampering, the guests left with food parcels and hopefully some good memories of a day spent showing them we care.
